Welcome to the 2007-2008 Gay and Lesbian Consumer Online Census. In order for you to "Stand Up and be Counted”, it is essential that the entire survey be completed. The study might take a little time (about 45 minutes), but the best part is it will be time well spent. Your voice needs to be heard by all! Your answers will help educate marketers and advertisers on the strength and economic viability of gay and lesbian consumers, and, we hope, convince them to pay more attention to your needs.

You will be asked for your e-mail address to begin the Census. Be assured the identity of individual respondents is not recorded, redistributed or conveyed to third parties for purposes of commercial solicitation or any other purpose. Individual responses are recorded and aggregated solely for the purpose of market research. Your privacy will be protected and respected. If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality issues, you can contact us at info@glcensus.org

We welcome participants from any country. However, please be aware that some questions are geared primarily toward U.S. respondents. That's especially the case for the questions later in the survey that deal with consumer issues. We're interested in your opinions but we know that not everything will be applicable to all of you!

If you need a cup of coffee or a break, please note your password on the top of the screen when you start the survey. This password will allow you to leave the Census and log back in to complete the rest. When you return, be sure to enter the same e-mail address you used to begin the Census, and then enter your password on the following screen. The Census will automatically bring you back to the page where you left off.

Please be sure to enter a valid e-mail address. Invalid e-mail addresses will make it impossible for us to send you your password if it is lost, and will prevent you from receiving the Census highlights by e-mail this fall. If you do not wish to receive correspondence from us, you may opt out of receiving the Census highlights and/or all other correspondence once the Census is complete. As always, adding our e-mail address to your address book or anti-spam white list will ensure that e-mails from us don't get blocked or filtered out as spam.
